Christmas Box House
This is a wonderful children’s shelter for abused and neglected children. Families can volunteer at the house once a month, helping with reading or crafts. Contact Catherine Johnson, 269-7506 or Becky, 284-3301
Shelter Kids
Shelter Kids is an organization that financially supports activities for the children placed in the Christmas Box House. They will be hosting Miles for Kids on (date). This event will raise money for programs for the Christmas Box children that will support outside activities such as bowling, laser tag, etc. Participation in this event will earn Helping Hands minutes for February. Elder Care Projects

Accepts donations to assist with the charitable medical care for children in need. Make check to “Shriners Hospitals for Children”. Intermountain Shriners Hospital Fairfax Road at Virginia Street, SLC, UT 84103. Students should work to earn dollars which they can then donate to this worthy cause.

St. Vincent’s School and Parish have many opportunities for students to fulfill their Community Service responsibilities. Listed below are just a few possibilities:
• Help with Extended Day, such as cleaning, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming the area
• Church ministry, such as altar server, help with music, ushers, etc.
• Volunteer to assist Jesse after school in straightening and cleaning classrooms
• Yard patrol; pick up trash etc from school yard and playground
• Assist the Golden Club and/or the Vincentinos; call Ada at the church office
• Vacation Bible School during the summer; middle school students needed to help organize younger students.
