The Nano Nagle Children’s Center

Saint Vincent's is pleased to announce that its full time Nano Nagle Childcare Center is opened.  This daycare is in the newly renovated convent next to school.  It is a premier Infant to 3 year old childcare center.

It was named Nano Nagle Children’s Center after Nano Nagle who was an Irish sister who opened many schools.  She educated children during the day and visited and nursed the sick by night.  She was known as the “Lady with the Lantern.” 

Nano founded the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary which is the order of sisters who opened Saint Vincent’s School and taught here from 1964 to 1994.
